Mineral wool disposal
Dispose of your mineral wool carefree with Desabau!
Mineral wool disposal is regulated on the basis of TRGS 521. In this “technical rule for hazardous substances” not only the working environment in which mineral wool or KMF disposal is carried out is regulated, but also the work clothing and above all the disposal is prescribed by law!
What is mineral wool?
Mineral wool is a material consisting of man-made mineral fibers. They are divided into glass wool and rock wool. This is mainly used as non-combustible insulation material for thermal insulation of houses. KMF, or artificial mineral fiber, is also used in industry as sound or fire protection.
In industry, mineral wool is disposed of on the basis of the so-called material flow, where disposers dispose of it with other disposers.
With Desabau you have found your provider for the disposal of both new mineral wool and old mineral wool in your area. In addition to normal mineral wool insulation, you can also dispose of KMF ceiling tiles with us.
In order to determine the cost of mineral wool disposal for you, it is first necessary to determine how many cubic meters will be on the construction site. Here we are happy to assist you – you can also use our Desabau configurator to set up an inquiry!
According to TRGS 521, mineral wool must be packed in BigBags for disposal. You can also get these big bags from us at www.desabag.de. Our sales staff will of course be happy to provide you with advice and assistance here!
